Community Philanthropy Grants Executive

Range: £18,000 pro rata per annum

Working hours: Part time 3 days/ 21 hours week for 6 months fixed term

Location: Liverpool City Centre

The Community Foundations for Lancashire & Merseyside (CFLM) is an independent charity which promotes local giving to address local disadvantage. 

As Grants Executive, your role will be varied and interesting; providing support to the Community Philanthropy Managers to ensure good donor care and social impact reporting.

Under the guidance of the Community Philanthropy Director, you will particularly support the delivery of our community funding. Your priorities will be to support the distribution and monitoring of Community Foundation funds and programmes against their criteria, including the processing of applications, due diligence, assessments and monitoring of them.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of charitable grant assessments and use of databases; you will need to be able to demonstrate your analytical skills, clarity of reporting and a back ground knowledge of voluntary organisations and social issues. You will need to be able to assess the structure of the applicant organisation and the proposal for their projects while retaining independence from decision making. Specific skills and knowledge of services relating to disadvantaged communities in Lancashire and/or Merseyside would be desirable.
