Accessibility

This website has been developed with accessibility in mind, helping to diverse range of customers.

The site has been designed using a standard navigation menu on the left hand side of the site and large alternative navigation buttons directing visitors to key areas of the site where necessary.

We have used Cascading Style Sheets in the construction of the site to ensure consistent presentation of content across browsers.

The text has been written using high standards of grammar, while links and alternative text tags should make sense in isolation. This should ensure visitors using screen readers and text only browsers can navigate the site easily.

To our knowledge, the site supports most major browsers, and should also support most screen readers.

We have attempted to ensure visitors can view the site easily, with a large 12 point, san serif font and high contrasts between text and backgrounds.

The site does meet W3C Priority 2 standards, and Community Foundation for Merseyside will endeavour to meet the highest standards we can, in terms of website accessibility.

If you are unhappy with our provisions, or have had problems viewing any part of the site, please telephone 0151 966 4604, fax 0151 966 3384 or email info@cfmerseyside.org.uk
