Merseyside Young Transformers Programme
Supported by Merseyside Police, the Home Office, The Tutu Foundation UK and the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside Young Transformers Programme supports projects that help
young people become positively and actively engaged in their communities helping steer children and young people away from crime and anti-social behaviour.
Application forms are available after July 2008.
Mersey Docks and Harbour Company 500 Fund
With funding provided by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company, grants of between £50 and £500 are available for groups with a restricted income of less than £5000 who
run projects that meet a real community need.
Closing date for applications is Wednesday 18 June.
The Green Machine Fund
The Green Machine Fund supports projects that enhance, improve or conserve the local environment. Grants of between £50 and £500 are available from donors, including
Unilever and Sonae UK, in the boroughs of Wirral, Knowsley, and Warrington.
This is a rolling programme accepting applications at all times.
The John Goore Fund
The John Goore Fund delivers grants up to £500 for disabled residents of Lydiate to carry out minor home improvements and £100 of book vouchers for residents of Lydiate
who are under-25 and in their first year at university to buy books to support their study.

The Joseph Harley Fund
The Joseph Harley Bequest supports young people to undertake projects or activities, where assistance from public bodies is not usually available. Applications for funding assistance will be considered for advancement of education and training of individuals, under the age of 25 who are residents of Formby.
Knowsley Voluntary and Community Sector Support (KVCSS)
KVCSS supports projects in Knowsley that help make a difference under four themes: Children & Young People, Healthier Communities & Older People, Safer & Stronger Communities and Economic Development.
Two levels of grants are available, depending on the project - grants are available up to £1500 or £10,000. The deadline for applications is Friday 27th June.
Alliance and Leicester Fund
The Alliance & Leicester Fund supports projects throughout Merseyside, with priority for small groups with annual turnovers of less than £50,000. This year, the fund has adopted a healthy lifestyles theme and provides funding of up to £500.
Applications should be submitted by mid April.
