Northwood Together Small Grants

Who can apply: Voluntary and community groups working in Northwood, Kirkby.

What is the focus of the fund?

Projects and initiatives that involve local Northwood residents to inspire community involvement and reinforce pride in the area. The main focus of the fund for this particular round is:

• Community engagement activities for all ages over the Christmas period

The panel do not wish to be prescriptive in terms of the criteria and are happy to consider a wide range of projects; some examples are given below.

How much is available?

Grants of up to £500 are available. 

 
What sort of things will the fund cover?

The following list gives some examples of activities that can be considered for funding (but is not exhaustive):

• Fun days
• Christmas parties
• Community Events

The Closing date is:

• Friday 15^th September 2017

Decisions should be made in October

1. A copy of the group’s rules or constitution
2. A copy of the group’s latest annual accounts or income/expenditure sheet
3. A copy of the group’s current Safeguarding Policy (if relevant to your work)
