We can help you and your family, your charitable trust or business to work out where to start with your giving or where to take it next, how much to give, what causes to consider and how to achieve the results you want. Our expert staff can help guide you in being effective and to have the greatest impact, especially in communities. Wherever you are in your giving journey, we can support you to make a difference and in turn grow stronger communities together. Our offer particularly includes:
The opportunity to set up a stand alone charitable fund or foundation for your personal, family or corporate charitable giving aims, named by you for your aims and involving your family or colleagues;
A dedicated relationship manager to work with you on developing your plans, identifying cause areas and levels of involvement, enabling you to direct your giving whilst they provide guidance and UK Quality Accredited administrative support;
The opportunity to give to a wide variety of causes such as community groups, charities and social enterprises as well as individuals in need or scholarships, unlike typical charitable trusts and professional advisor offers;
Our annual giving guide, Vital Signs, which shares the most up-to-date information on community priorities as a starting point to help you plan your giving. We can also offer bespoke research on specialist causes that are of interest to you to inform your giving plans;
The opportunity to join The Philanthropy Fellowship to meet like-minded people and learn about giving techniques and community issues via visits, events and literature;
We work with around 50 people and organisations who hold charitable funds with us which form their entire charitable work or complements their other giving plans. Our philanthropy advisory offer has been developed since 2008 based on leading practice from the Rockefeller Foundation, Institute of Philanthropy and more recently our leading UK work with CASS Business School and other leading Community Foundations to develop the UK’s first Philanthropy Advising Framework. Our offer is backed by the Professional Footballers Association and Tilney BestInvest via formal partnerships.
