Northwood Together Community Organiser  

Initial 2 Year Contract with the possibility of extension subject to funding and the needs of the programme. Full-time (37 hours per week), flexible hours.

 

Salary SCP 29-33   £25,951 - £29,323    
 

Home-Start Knowsley on behalf of the Northwood Together Big Local Partnership is inviting applications for the post of Northwood Together Community Organiser and Support Worker. This post is integral to the strategic operations of the Partnership to achieve their shared vision for the Northwood Together Big Local Area. 

 

Northwood Together is a 10 year community programme (with 7 years left to run and funded by Big Lottery) which gives local people a chance to make a difference in their neighbourhood by raising aspirations, creating opportunities, and enriching lives. This Big Local programme is bringing £1M of Big Lottery funding to Northwood for residents to make it a better place.

 

The post holder will be expected to take the lead on all aspects of the grass roots operational management of the Big Local Programme in Northwood.
