The impact of our Merseyside Women's Fund

Last year – coinciding with the 100-year anniversary of the Representation of the People’s Act, which first gave women the right to vote – CFM proudly launched the Women’s Fund initiative for both Merseyside.

The fund has been set-up to help break down barriers that affect girls and women in the Liverpool City Region striving to instigate positive change. Thousands of pounds of funding has already been distributed to a number of local grass roots organisations – including a centre providing counselling, care and support for domestic violence victims and an organisation empowering school age girls with anxiety issues to access and learn new skills in arts and digital media.
