Partnerships & Philanthropy Opportunities - General

Themed Funds

The Community Foundation develops each year themed funds to strategically meet a need or tackle an issue in the community. Currently we operate and campaign around the Merseyside Young Transformers Programme and the Green Machine Fund. You can become a partner of an existing fund or work with us to set up a new fund. Themed funds provide the opportunity to work in partnership with public and private sector partners and others in the private sector as well as supporting a cause within the community.

Endowment Funds

An endowment fund demonstrates long-term commitment to local community by creating a permanent legacy for the area. The fund will be invested for grant-making in perpetuity. This type of fund is particularly useful when planning exit strategies, new developments, long-term brand awareness or expansions.

Revenue Funds

A revenue fund allows you to choose specific criteria, geographical area or theme for annual grant-making. This type of support enables you to make a large, immediate impact in the local community.

Partnerships & Philanthropy Opportunities - Corporate

Community Ventures

The Community Foundation's community 'Dragon's Den' allows companies and their staff to award funding to projects seeking to become more sustainable, professional and business-like.

In Good Company Acorn Funds

In Good Company is the Community Foundation's corporate membership scheme, enabling companies to give around £1,000 a year and create corporate Acorn Funds - small endowment funds that can grow over time. In return, member organisations receive assistance with their local community work, the opportunity to set up team volunteering days and help with charitable requests.

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Community Foundation has a wide portfolio of sponsorship opportunities available for organisations, offering commercially aware benefits. Our Spirit of Merseyside Awards night gives the chance for organisations to put their name to one of Merseyside's biggest community events and support the volunteers who work so diligently to provide opportunities for communities across Merseyside.

Employee Support

The Community Foundation offers a range of ways in which a company's employees can support their local area, including payroll giving, workplace fundraising and recycling schemes. Employees are often the most passionate supporters of local charities and the Community Foundation can offer many ways to facilitate a company in supporting this enthusiasm in practical ways
